This application represents the successful integration of the BIO-key biometric fingerprint identification software into Oracle's Identity Management platform.
Utilizing BIO-key's patented WEB-key(R) technology, ID Director for Fusion Middleware requires only the "touch of a finger" to gain access into any new or existing application protected by Oracle's Identity Management Suite. BIO- key's solution replaces less secure and cumbersome passwords and tokens with the security and convenience of biometrics. In an effort to revolutionize and accelerate the finger biometrics market BIO-key also announced today that it is offering its Web-key client software as well as the Software Development Kit at "no charge" to Oracle Application providers, removing the obstacle of cost to companies looking to integrate biometric access. Oracle's partners and customers alike can immediately take advantage of this breakthrough to secure applications protected by Oracle Identity Management Platforms including user access to Single Sign On (SSO) and Web and application identity management provisioning applications.
